Electoral census:
In accordance with the new Law of the Electoral Census (Law n.º 13/99), published in 22 of March:
- the electoral census is permanent for new registrations, transferences and alterations (excepto 60 days previous to the electoral or acts where the census is suspended).
- the presentation of the I.D. is mandatory therefore the registration only can be made in the Junta de freguesia indicated in the I.D. (for that it can be necessary the renewal of the I.D. for update of the Junta de freguesia of residence).
- the young that completes 17 years has the right to its registration in a provisory heading until the day they have 18 years, that pass the effective voters automatically.
Daily Citizen Support:
Besides Electoral census, the Junta de Freguesia de São Bento daily supports it's citizens. Services like Certified of residence, Dogs and Cats Licenses, etc.
